What You'll Do:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in a heavy industrial environment, including hydraulics, pneumatics, mobile equipment, electrical/electronic devices and controls, motors, overhead cranes, and large production machines.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance.
  • Perform welding and fabricating tasks.
  • Use hoists, cranes, and hand tools to dismantle devices and replace defective parts.
  • Measure parts using rulers, calipers, micrometers, and other instruments to determine dimensional changes.
  • Communicate stocking needs for parts and supplies.

Note: Building and grounds custodial duties are NOT performed by the maintenance department.

What You'll Need:

  • 2-year technical certification or training in mechanical maintenance
  • 2-4 years of applicable experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Minimum score on Multi-Craft Maintenance Skill Assessment Exam
