Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of millwright experience in manufacturing, production, or repair facilities.
  • Willingness to obtain a Class 4 Steam Ticket within 1 year of employment.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Job description

Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Full-Time Millwright / Maintenance Technician at the Feed Mill located in Langley, BC.

What you’ll do:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mill equipment
  • Conduct minor repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and trailers as required
  • Repair broken or damaged equipment whenever possible
  • Weld and fabricate as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you will do:

To pursue a career in Feed Mill Operations, you should have:

  • A Millwright trade qualification or extensive experience in a related field
  • At least 2 years of millwright experience in manufacturing, production, or repair facilities (preferred)
  • Willingness to obtain a Class 4 Steam Ticket within 1 year of employment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proven track record as a self-starter, reliable and dedicated
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • A commitment to a safe working environment
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Open availability 7 days a week
  • This position is based in Langley but may require travel to other locations as needed
