You will be responsible for maintaining the maintenance of equipment, building and the environment of the operating sites affiliated with the Langley plant at its highest level of operational performance, in order to meet and/or exceed the Plants performance indicators. Contributes to and collaborates on infrastructure improvement projects for Canadian plants in order to reduce organizational operating costs and bring annual financial gains to all Canadian manufacturing operations. Principal Responsibilities: Troubleshoot equipment issues while tracking actions. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on machinery and buildings at the sites of operations. Participate in and comply with maintenance planning (CMMS) and equipment modification (MOC) processes.

Purpose of the position:

You will be responsible for maintaining the maintenance of equipment, building and the environment of the operating sites affiliated with the Langley plant at its highest level of operational performance, in order to meet and/or exceed the Plants performance indicators. Contributes to and collaborates on infrastructure improvement projects for Canadian plants in order to reduce organizational operating costs and bring annual financial gains to all Canadian manufacturing operations.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues while tracking actions
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on machinery and buildings at the sites of operations
  • Participate in and comply with maintenance planning (CMMS) and equipment modification (MOC) processes
  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of Industry 4.0 (IIoT) for real-time machine monitoring
  • Manage interactions between external suppliers related to the building, equipment and site, and ensure compliance with the hazardous work permit process and work regulations with the various stakeholders
  • Ensure that critical spare parts inventory is maintained
  • Be agile and available at all times to respond to the emergencies required by the Langley site
  • Collaborate with the engineering team on projects, and occasional travel required to other plants in West region
  • Actively participate in Safety, Health, Environment, Quality and 5S programs
  • Provide technical support for plant employee training and other training requiring its expertise
  • Collaborate and support the CES, Distribution and Emergency Response teams as needed
  • Any other related tasks that may be assigned by its Maintenance Manager/Plant Manager.

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • College diploma in industrial maintenance, or DEP in refrigeration or electromechanics of automated systems.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment
  • English, spoken and written
  • Good knowledge of computers (MS Office), drawing software (AutoCAD) and CMMS
  • Must be able to support the plant's operational time coverage and/or be on call during this period.
  • Must be able to move between the factories it supports. As well as trips outside the province to support the projects of other Canadian plants (West region).
  • Knowledge of compressed gases and cryogenic liquids an asset.
  • Valid Driver's license
