Job description

Maintenance Technician I (Day Shift, $25+/hr)

Who we are looking for:

We are currently searching for a Maintenance Tech to be based out of Milford, UT. Reporting to Maintenance, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for conducting daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance as well as repairing plant equipment.

What you'll do:

  • Troubleshoot problems.
  • Perform daily, weekly, & monthly preventive maintenance.
  • Work on various machinery including:
    • Heat Controllers
    • Water Pumps
    • Pressure pumps
    • Vacuum pumps
    • PLC
    • Pneumatics
  • Be on call periodically.
  • Perform all other assigned duties.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and initiative.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, handle multiple demands, and remain calm during delays or unexpected events.
  • Basic electrical knowledge.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs.

Within 3 months, you'll:

  • Complete any required training.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Be familiar with Atkore's Business System and understand your role's importance to daily operations.
