Job summary

Cintas Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 3rd shift at our Edmonton, AB facility. You’ll assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment and systems, including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors and boilers.

You’ll also support preventive maintenance, safety, housekeeping and record-keeping tasks. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience in industrial equipment repair, can read English maintenance literature and

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install and troubleshoot industrial equipment and systems (washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, boilers).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks and document activities.
• Resolve safety concerns and conduct indoor/outdoor housekeeping.
• Monitor inventory supplies and maintain maintenance records.
• Assist with repairs and improvements to equipment to keep operations running smoothly.

Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to assist with maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include assisting with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems and components including, but not limited to, washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems and boilers; assisting with performing preventive/predictive maintenance; resolving safety concerns; performing indoor and outdoor housekeeping; monitoring inventory supplies and maintaining maintenance records.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years\'experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift
• High School Diploma/GED

Preferred

• Boiler knowledge
• HVAC experience
