Job summary

Cintas Canada is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to help maintain an industrial laundry facility. Responsibilities include repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, and boilers. You will perform preventive maintenance, address safety concerns, and help keep maintenance records.

Role is full-time, 2nd shift, on-site in Ontario. Strong Reading of English maintenance literature, blueprint reading, and MS Office skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
• Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
• Experience with and ability to read a blueprint.
• Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8 hour shift.
• High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing and troubleshooting industrial equipment including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyors, and boilers.
• Assist with preventive/predictive maintenance and safety procedures.
• Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping and maintain maintenance records.
• Monitor inventory supplies.

Compensation

A reasonable estimate of base salary for this role ranges between $28.56 - $36.49/Hour. The range takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organization needs. Please note, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decision are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each decision.
