Responsibilities

• As a Maintenance Technician, address service requests and maintain the community under the direction of the maintenance supervisor or property manager.
• Complete service tickets and work orders efficiently and accurately
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents by managing the turnover process
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and free of debris
• Deliver exceptional customer service to residents and team members
• Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, and carpentry repairs, including:
• Repair electrical circuits, switches, and breakers
• Service and install light fixtures and appliances (stoves, refrigerators, washers, dryers)
• Fix and replace toilets, sinks, vanities, disposals, and caulking
• Handle minor carpentry repairs (doors, window screens, blinds)
• Paint and drywall repair as needed
• Remove bulk trash, including discarded appliances
• Clear drains and sewer lines (up to 4 feet)

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maintenance repair and service across multiple areas
• Previous apartment maintenance experience
• HVAC Certification is a plus
• Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and safely using ladders
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work weekends as required
