Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the condition and functionality of a student housing community, preparing apartments for new residents, and providing excellent customer service through general maintenance work orders.

Responsibilities:

• Complete interior and exterior work orders including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall repair, painting, appliances, and make readies.
• Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs of building systems.
• Assist with maintaining amenities like swimming pools and spas, snow/ice removal, debris clearance, furniture moving, and supply management.
• Be on-call for emergency work orders and lock-outs.
• Contribute to monthly facilities planning and uphold standards for a clean, well-maintained community.
• Participate in staff and safety meetings/webinars.
• Report violations of property rules to supervisors.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience or equivalent training.
• Experience with HVAC and appliance repairs.
• Ability to operate various tools safely and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Understanding of safety protocols and MSDS for chemical use.
