Job summary

Canalta Hotels in Brandon, Manitoba is seeking a maintenance technician to support daily hotel operations and guest experiences. You will perform routine upkeep across facilities and equipment, keep the property pristine, and ensure the pool area is safe and welcoming for guests. The role emphasizes guest-facing service, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience is a plus, but training is provided.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, and pool maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across hotel facilities and equipment.
• Keep our property in top condition and visually appealing.
• Ensure pool area is clean, safe and ready for guests.
• Serve as a Brand Ambassador, upholding Canalta values.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure memorable guest experiences.
• Share knowledge and assist teammates with maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot issues and resolve guest problems promptly.
• Follow hotel safety guidelines and procedures.
