Summary

This role requires good knowledge of facilities' layout and design of the Compressed Air, Chilled Water, Recycled Water, and City Water systems; Electrical Distribution Panels, Buss Bar Disconnects, and Primary Circuit Breakers.

You will be responsible for maintaining all equipment in the plant, covering emergency breakdowns and repairs promptly. Skills in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, welding, and fabricating are essential. Tasks include lubrication, filter inspection and replacement, oil changes, motor and pump replacements, plumbing, painting, cleaning, and other mechanical and electrical tasks. Good computer skills, especially SAP for work order management, are required. The role also involves maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical and electrical duties, including troubleshooting and proactive maintenance.
• Install and set up barrels and screws on extruders with minimal supervision.
• Complete welding and fabrication tasks, process repairs, and contribute to improvements and projects.
• Use SAP Maintenance Module for work orders, labor tracking, and materials management.
• Maintain organization and high standards for housekeeping.
• Perform routine assignments independently and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Understand operational aspects of extrusion processes.

Qualifications

High school diploma and at least 3 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance or Pipe Extrusion are required.

Physical Demands

This role involves standing, handling, reaching, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, sitting, climbing, and balancing. Lifting requirements include up to 50 pounds occasionally, with vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and focus adjustments.

Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, electrical shock risks, wet/humid conditions, fumes, extreme heat, vibration, high places, and loud noise levels is typical.
