POSITION TYPE PERMANENT, FULL-TIMEThe Forks Market Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the environment of The Forks Market and surrounding properties, ensuring a safe, functional, and clean environment for tenants, visitors, and staff. The Technician will perform routine and preventative maintenance, addressing repair needs, and providing direct support for both indoor and outdoor tasks across multiple buildings and facilities on The Forks site.   • Preventative and general maintenance on HVAC and rooftop systems and equipment.
  • Performing minor repairs and replacements on equipment and fixtures using hand tools, including plumbing fixes, painting, and patching.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of common areas with light cleaning duties. Performing seasonal tasks such as snow and ice removal, pressure washing, and outdoor window cleaning in order to maintain safe and accessible outdoor areas.
  • The setup and take down of event spaces and equipment as needed.
  • Keeping mechanical and electrical rooms secure, organized, and clean.
  • Providing excellent customer service to all departments and tenants, external contractors and suppliers, and visitors to The Forks site.
The Maintenance Technician is someone who:
  • Has strong communication skills and is able to interact with various stakeholders of The Forks with a friendly
  • Has excellent time management skills and pays close attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities and can resolve issues quickly.
  • Has knowledge of minor maintenance duties, including the use of basic hand and power tools.
  • Is capable of working 8 hours on their feet, both indoors and outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cooler temperatures.
  • Is able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
