Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine checks on equipment to detect damages or repair needs. You will service a variety of machines including conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, depalletizers, and labelers, ensuring production line assignments are completed while strictly adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily routine checks on equipment to detect damages or repair needs.
• Service machines such as conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, depalletizers, and labelers.
• Complete production line assignments while maintaining strict safety standards.
• Maintain and repair PLC, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment, machines, and associated hardware with minimal supervision.
• Support operators when equipment malfunctions and collaborate to correct the problem.
• Participate in the development of team members through training and collaboration.
• Comply with the Company's Integrated Management Systems, including Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
• Adhere to all rules and policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, and legal regulations.

Must Haves

• 2 years' maintenance experience in a plant, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
• Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electromechanical competency is an asset (sensors, drives, HMI, etc.).
• Ability to read manuals, find parts, and interpret blueprints.
• Capability to stand for long periods of time.
• Fast learner with a commitment to continuous improvement.
