Industrial Maintenance
Responsibilities Include
Under the supervision of the maintenance manager, the Operations and Maintenance Technician must solve mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems on production equipment in order to minimize production stoppages and thus meet health and safety, production, on-time delivery and production cost objectives. More specifically, he/she will :
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and electrical problems on production equipment.
- Read electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings and diagrams.
- Develop and monitor preventive maintenance program.
- Carry out work orders generated by the preventive maintenance program.
- Responsible for change over.
- Document work orders generated by HYPPO FM and repair orders, as required.
- Implement corrective measures to reduce downtime due to breakdowns.
- Perform building maintenance.
- Operate lifting equipment and forklift trucks in a safe manner.
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives by working closely with internal stakeholders, including the Plant Manager, Plant Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, Production Planner, Team Leaders and all co-workers.
- Perform welding work on production equipment.

- Perform all other related duties as requested by immediate supervisor.
Qualifications
DEP in electromechanics or industrial mechanics or DEC in industrial maintenance or mechanical engineering (an asset)
3 to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of blueprint reading
