A Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the proper operation and repair of the facility. The role involves a variety of repair tasks, including:

• Performing routine maintenance such as fixing structural damage (windows, doors, walls)
• Repairing plumbing issues to prevent water damage and restore water fixtures
• Fixing electrical wiring problems
• Maintaining HVAC systems for proper climate control
• Applying preventative measures like sealing flat roofs
• Addressing safety hazards to prevent injuries
• Painting the building to maintain appearance
• Utilizing plumbing skills for leaks and drainage issues
• Using electrical skills for wiring problems
• Basic carpentry repairs
• Groundskeeping for outdoor areas
• Interpersonal skills for positive interactions with staff and visitors
