Job summary

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, five years of experience, and skills in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. Job description

As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the property.

Essential Duties

  • Monitor and/or perform preventative maintenance
  • Oversee day to day general maintenance
  • Respond to tenant maintenance requests
  • Diagnose problems and make general repairs
  • Complete paperwork, work orders
  • Building inspections
  • Oversee work undertaken by contractors

Basic Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of previous experience in property maintenance
  • Experience required in minor electrical, plumbing, mechanical, drywall, flooring, and HVAC
  • Ability to do minor drywall repairs / painting when required
  • Ability to work with varies tools
  • Ability to use general office equipment (computer, printer, copier, scanner)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Available for on call after hours, nights and weekends
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of health and safety regulations, and place importance on conducting regular safety inspections
