The Opportunity : The Maintenance Technician Level 2 is a part of a building operations team and will assist in performing assigned duties related to the maintenance and repair activities within a retail mall or complex of buildings. The Maintenance Technician Level 2 may be sole operator of a building of modest size and level complexity as it relates to building systems and tenant demands.

What you will do:

• Scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Occupational health and safety.
• Interact with Tenants.
• Management of hazardous materials.
• Lighting and plumbing.
• Roof maintenance.
• Housekeeping and cleaning duties, including sweeping, snow shoveling, pressure washing, window washing and other related duties.
• The Maintenance Technician Level 2 requires a reasonably broad base of skills, attributes, and knowledge
• Simple administrative skills and ensure operations records, files and documentation are maintained accurately, timely and in accordance with established procedures.

Technical Qualifications - work experience in commercial / retail building operations an asset but not a requirement.

IT Skills – Entry level use of Microsoft Office

Police Clearance – A criminal verification check is required for employment.
