Job summary

Walmart Canada in Calgary, AB is seeking a Maintenance Cleaning Associate to participate in a structured cleaning program and help control expenses while ensuring a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

You will perform cleaning in Fresh Departments, comply with Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines, inspect equipment, and assist with supplies. This role requires 18+ years old and includes on-site work with hourly pay.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
