The Role:

This role requires leveraging your skills and experience to foster a culture of excellence, focus, and collaboration. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee repair and preventative maintenance of all stamping equipment, ensuring departmental productivity, quality, safety, and cost targets are met.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• College Diploma in a technical field or equivalent
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a unionized environment
• At least 3 years of troubleshooting experience with Stamping Presses
• Ability to work all shifts (days, afternoons, midnights)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline (proof of degree required; Canadian equivalency if obtained outside Canada)
• Skilled trades certificate in mechanical, tool & die, or electrical (preferred)
• Experience in an automotive heavy stamping facility
• Proficiency with industrial controls such as PLCs (Allen-Bradley), Siemens drives, and HMIs
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Jier Presses
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and constraint management principles
