Job summary

Corbec, Inc. in Hamilton is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations and ensure safe, reliable plant equipment performance.

You will plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, drive CMMS usage, and coordinate internal teams and external contractors. Qualifications include a certificate or diploma in industrial maintenance or related field, 5+ years in industrial maintenance, and CMMS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in industrial maintenance, facilities management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• Experience in supervising staff.
• Knowledge of overhead cranes and industrial equipment.
• Asset: Experience with a CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Act as a leader in health and safety, implement programs and lead the maintenance team to adopt safer behaviours.
• Mentor team members to develop their maintenance expertise.
• Ensure the implementation and continued use of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Ensure the availability of parts and materials required for maintenance activities.
• Coordinate the interventions of external suppliers and contractors.
• Participate in the analysis of failures and the implementation of corrective actions.
• Manage the forklift fleet, building, and grounds.
