Job summary

Nortera Foods Inc. in Saint-Denis-sur-Richelieu is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to drive operational efficiency and lead a multidisciplinary maintenance team.

You will plan, supervise, and optimize preventive maintenance while ensuring safety, quality and compliance with standards. The role requires a DEC in industrial mechanics or equivalent, 2–5 years in an industrial setting, and strong leadership to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• DEC in industrial mechanics, electromechanics, equivalent training or relevant experience.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of a CMMS maintenance management system.
• Mobilizing leadership, autonomy, priority management and ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach a multidisciplinary team on a daily basis (mechanics, electromechanics, electricians).
• Develop the potential of employees while maintaining a healthy work climate that respects the collective agreement.
• Plan tasks to respect priorities, assign them and monitor them.
• Ensure monitoring of the preventive upkeep and maintenance program in collaboration with the planner.
• Ensure high quality service to our internal operations by respecting deadlines and allocated resources.
• Identify process optimization opportunities and deploy concrete action plans.
• Promote a culture of excellence focused on compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
