About the Opportunity
We are looking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Bell Creek Mine in Porcupine,
ON. The schedule for this position is 5-5-4, 12 hour shifts, steady dayshift.
Please note that this role requires relocation to the Timmins area and is not a camp-based
position.
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Supervisor will have the
following responsibilities:
• Coordinate maintenance activities efficiently in conjunction with the operational
requirements in a safe, cost effective, and environmentally responsible manner
• Review departmental and companywide safety incidents daily and conduct reviews with
crews
• Conduct Supervisor Safety Compliance monthly – Visible, Felt Leadership
• Assign daily job tasks to maintenance and contract personnel
• Conduct performance assessments of maintenance personnel
• Ensure daily availability and utilization is reviewed with the Operations team
• Review monthly cost/hr metrics on all prime moving equipment with Maintenance
Superintendent and suggest continuous improvement plans to lower operating costs
• In conjunction with the Superintendent and Planner; plan, schedule and generate
maintenance work orders
• Generate and follow PM programs

• Certification in a mechanical related trade
• 5-7 years of related maintenance experience
• 2-5 years in a leader or supervisory role
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
