Job description

Job Type: Full-Time

Wage: $52,201 - $58,725

The Gateway to Your Future

This position is responsible for managing, carrying out, and supporting the general outdoor landscaping, maintenance, renovations, and repairs of up to 3 sites in the region, including casino facilities, parking lots, and outside grounds. Ensures building operations and construction standards are maintained throughout the facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handles day-to-day operations and maintenance of building systems including electrical, mechanical, life safety, Building Automation System (BAS), minor repairs, general maintenance, and daily inspections. Focus on grounds and landscape maintenance and winter snow removal as needed.
• Provides technical on-site support for construction, development, and renovation projects.
• Ensures effective implementation and maintenance of preventive maintenance programs, especially for HVAC, UPS/genset, and elevator/escalator systems.
• Reviews and updates maintenance records for key systems.
• Prepares purchase orders, ensuring invoicing is price-checked, approved, and processed efficiently.
• Develops incident reports for site maintenance issues.
• Responds immediately to emergencies or urgent issues.

What You Bring

• 2-3 years of experience in facilities maintenance roles involving planning and organization
• Basic knowledge of landscaping equipment, plumbing, electrical, carpentry/millwork, painting, and physical assets
• Skid steer training is an asset
• Valid provincial driver’s license and good driving record
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, chiller operations, UPS and EPS systems, and automated building and lighting controls
• Proven customer service skills and follow-through
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Safety-conscious attitude
