Canfor is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance crews, ensure safe and efficient work, and coach staff toward cost-effective results. The role focuses on directing daily maintenance activities and aligning safety with production goals.

Ideal candidates bring strong safety commitment, proven supervisory experience, and extensive maintenance know-how. Interprovincial trade qualifications and familiarity with electronic maintenance programs are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and provide leadership in safety, quality, cost, delivery and employee engagement.
• Provide direction and support to reports and foster effective working relationships.
• Develop and achieve targets in safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Ensure the preventative maintenance program is developed and followed and that cost targets are within budget.
• Coordinate planned work of crews to meet maintenance and production targets and quality standards.
• Maintain high standards of work performance and correct behaviour as required.

As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will hold a pivotal position within our Maintenance Team, with a primary responsibility for overseeing maintenance crews and ensuring their work is carried out safely and efficiently. Your focus will be on coaching and developing our employees to achieve cost-effective results while adhering to rigorous safety procedures. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in directing and guiding the team to enhance their performance. Planning the daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance work functions will also be a key aspect of your role.

• Supervise and provide leadership in safety, quality, cost, delivery and employee engagement
