St Marys Cement in Canada is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of Millwrights in maintenance, repair, and preventive programs. You will oversee daily operations, prioritize safety, and coordinate with other supervisors to minimize downtime and control costs.
The role requires college or university-level training with 3–5 years of related experience, SAP and Kronos proficiency, and strong supervisory skills in a union environment.

The Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor supervises, and coordinates activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment, housekeeping and in fabricating parts and tools by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates.

Directly supervises the maintenance Millwrights in the Maintenance Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsible for training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
