The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Maintenance Superintendent on a permanent basis in Regina, SK.

Join our Co-op Refinery Complex as a Maintenance Superintendent, where you’ll lead a large team and oversee critical maintenance operations that keep our refinery running safely and reliably. What you’ll do:
  • Oversee maintenance execution to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with Maintenance Excellence Standards, returning assets to full operational health.
  • Oversee materials management team to ensure effective management of materials, spare parts, and inventory control to support maintenance execution and reliability objectives.
  • Lead and develop a large maintenance team, fostering engagement, safety, and continuous improvement while managing all aspects of performance, training, and development.
  • Provide strategic leadership and resource planning, balancing short‑term priorities with long‑term goals for maintenance performance, turnaround support, and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with engineering, reliability, and operations teams to resolve complex technical issues, set priorities, and implement solutions that enhance equipment integrity and operational reliability.
  • Manage financial and operational planning, including building and monitoring budgets, approving expenditures, and supporting capital project execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process enhancements, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards across all maintenance activities.
Who you’ll work with:

The Team: You will oversee a Maintenance Department of approximately 200 unionized and management team members and will have two Trades Managers, Materials Manager and one Senior Administrative Assistant as direct reports.

Who you are:

  • Have 10+ years of maintenance management experience in an industrial environment. Experience leading people is required.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field or a recognized trades certification. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • Are adept at managing budgets, resources, and operational plans while ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Are skilled in developing high-performing teams through coaching, engagement, and talent development.
