We invite you to use your skills with us and contribute to something meaningful and enduring.The Opportunity We are currently seeking a Maintenance Superintendent (Electrical/Instrumentation) to join our team in the Clarabelle Mill Department based in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a permanent on-site position, working Monday to Friday - dayshifts.The Maintenance Superintendent (Electrical/Instrumentation) at Clarabelle Mill has overall responsibility for the electrical, instrumentation, combustion, and automation activities for the mill, tailings, and water plants areas. Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to safety regulations, environmental standards, and corporate policies; leading and developing a team; managing preventative and predictive maintenance programs and supporting continuous improvement programs to minimize downtime and achieve production targets.Additionally, in this position you will: Audit and analyze systems to ensure zero harm to employees, the business, environment, and community, while achieving production quality and quantity targets, and cost goals.Identify and implement safety, cost, and productivity improvements, driving initiatives to achieve zero harm and maximize efficiency.Lead and mentor team members to exhibit Safe Production behaviors, providing performance feedback, and taking corrective action when necessary to ensure compliance.Collaborate with other Process Superintendents, Managers, and Supervisors to address supplier and customer system deficiencies, achieve capital and operating project goals, and enhance economic resource recovery.Establish and manage Capital and Operating budgets for the area, developing plans to achieve financial targets and optimize resource allocation.Develop and manage production and maintenance plans, forecasts, and asset integrity reviews, escalating when plans won't be achieved and managing plant activities as needed.Contribute to strategic planning, including developing annual and 5-year capital plans, area-specific goals, and objectives, and facilitating execution plans to drive business outcomes.Provide performance feedback to team members, coach, and counsel employees on the standards of behaviour, and manage performance as required.About You Education:Red Seal certification in a relevant maintenance trade, or post-secondary undergraduate degree in Engineering or diploma in engineering technology.Experience:A minimum of 8 years' experience within maintenance and/or supervisory roles.Electrical and/or Instrumentation discipline experience.Planning and/or scheduling, or work management experience considered an asset.Experience with CMMS systems (SAP preferred).Skills:Proven leadership capabilities.Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, & Teams.Knowledge of basic report creation and use of reporting tools.Demonstrated mentoring and coaching skills.Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of the Safe Production model of risk and hazard management.What We Offer You Competitive compensation including a variable annual incentive planParticipation in a competitive Defined Contribution Pension packageComprehensive benefits package (com
