For over 100 years, the Sun Parlor Home has provided long-term care to Essex County. Day in the Life

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Conduct emergency repairs to plumbing, equipment, and machinery
• Collect refuse and recycling
• Clean service areas
• Assist with incoming deliveries
• Seasonal snow removal and grass cutting
• Visit supplier locations to obtain parts and equipment
• Adhere to health and safety standards to promote a safe work environment
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

What We Are Looking For

• Secondary School Diploma, Technical & Maintenance Training, Mechanical Abilities
• 2-4 years of related experience
• Knowledge of computerized building control systems preferred
• 2 years of mechanical systems experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
• Negative Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check
• Commitment to a safe and secure work environment
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to pass maintenance written and practical tests
• Availability for shift work, including every other weekend

What We Are Offering

• $25.49 per hour
