Qualifications

  • Develop and sustain a proactive Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance program.

Job description

One of our food processing clients is looking for a Maintenance Specialist for their food production facility at Blue Mountains, ON area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring timely repair and maintenance of all plant machinery and systems.
  • Provide technical support to maintenance, production and pacakgging teams and drive CI efforts to reduce downtime.
  • Develope and sustain a proactive Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) program to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Provide onsite support with equipment maintenance, CI efforts, PM Programs and fulfill maintenance requirements along with the maintenance team.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment failure data to identify root causes and drive reliability improvements.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintenance work instructions.
  • Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and equipment history.
  • Support capital projects and equipment installations by coordinating with engineering and vendors.
  • Train, coach, and mentor maintenance technicians and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Licensed Millwright with experience in the food.
  • 7+ years of maintenance and reliability experience in a food processing or high speed manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, PLC and hydraulic systems.
