Building Service Equipment Maintenance

In accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of Provincial Health Services Authority, patient safety is a priority and a shared responsibility. Continuous improvement of quality and safety is inherent in this position. The Maintenance Power Engineer 3rd Class operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies systems related to steam distribution, condensate, hot water heating, HVAC, medical air/vacuum, and mechanical power generation, conforming to regulatory codes, Worksafe BC regulations, and hospital policies. This role also provides vacation and sickness relief for the Steam Generation Plant as needed.
