Corteva has an exciting opportunity for aMaintenance Planner/Scheduler to join our team at ourLethbridge, AB site.
What You Will Do:
- You will always work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure you and your colleagues go home safe every day.
- Source and order parts for various seed processing and general facility equipment.
- Distribute and kit parts for technicians.
- Manage parts inventory, including ordering, tracking, and cataloging.
- Use computerized inventory systems and parts libraries.
- Work diligently with distributors on the phone, over email, and in person to assist with specific parts needs.
- Accurately process transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns.
- Create and administer purchase orders.
- Communicate effectively with internal team members, suppliers, and vendors.
- Provide alternative solutions, if necessary, based on price, availability, and job requirements.
- Arrange trucking companies and couriers when required.
- Oversee preventative maintenance program for seed production facility equipment and infrastructure
- Work with the maintenance supervisor, coordinator, and specialist on work queues, work orders, and projects. Help organize and plan work, including seasonal shutdowns.
- Assist with contractor administration.
- Work overtime hours, including weekends, as required during seasonal peaks.
- Perform other duties as required by the company.
Education:
- Highschool Diploma/GED equivalent
- 3+ years of Equipment Maintenance experience/parts technician experience/planning experience preferred
- Trade School certificate in a Technical, Electrical, or Mechanical field, or equivalent preferred
- Willing to train the right candidate.
Requirements- What you will bring:
- Intermediate to strong MS Office and Computer Skills
- Ability to learn company-specific applications as required.
- Experience using an electronic maintenance module such as SAP R3 is an asset.
- Basic understanding of maintaining and repairing, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, mechanical power transmission systems, electrical systems, welding, and fabrication work.
