The Life of a Maintenance Planner includes:

  • Planning and implementing daily and weekly preventative maintenance work lists and duties
  • Planning and implementing project work lists and duties
  • Ensuring the Canfor Operating System (COS) is followed, with emphasis on abnormality response
  • Developing and following the preventative maintenance program within budget
  • Coordinating the planned work of crews to meet maintenance and production targets, adhering to quality standards
  • Helping develop and achieve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement targets
  • Maintaining high standards of work performance and behavior

For this role, you should have:

  • Substantial experience in planning and scheduling maintenance for multiple trade functions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of electronic maintenance programs (asset)
  • Strong organizational skills and adaptability to changing business conditions
  • An Interprovincial Trade Qualification (asset)
