REPORTS TO: Senior QA/QC Manager

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will coordinate and optimize maintenance activities across mechanical, electrical, and contractor services. This role is critical in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely execution of maintenance work by developing detailed job plans, managing schedules, and aligning resources. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do:

  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities (mechanical, electrical, and contractor-based), ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Develop detailed job plans including safety requirements, manpower estimates, materials, tools, and technical documentation.
  • Identify critical paths and plan work to the appropriate level of detail for successful execution.
  • Use standardized global work processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with craft personnel for input and feedback on job plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory standards to ensure compliance in all planning activities.
  • Manage the maintenance planning process: backlog management, work order planning, and scheduling.
  • Coordinate daily and shutdown maintenance schedules in collaboration with operations.
  • Generate and present reports on maintenance activities, backlog, and KPIs to management.
  • Ensure timely delivery of equipment, materials, and kitted parts for planned work.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and maintain alignment with the storeroom.
  • Enter requisitions for parts, labor, and services in SAP.
  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) and New Item for Stores (NIFS) in SAP.
  • Utilize SAP, Prometheus, and other systems to support maintenance planning.
  • Develop and maintain job plans and standard job templates.
  • Participate in Root Cause Problem Elimination (RCPE) processes.
  • Facilitate weekly planning and scheduling meetings.
  • Integrate production and maintenance plans in coordination with Gatekeepers.
  • Provide vacation and on-call coverage as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in manufacturing (food, pharmaceutical, or refinery industries preferred).
  • Proficiency in SAP and Prometheus for maintenance and operations.
  • Strong understanding of predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Ability to use KPIs for decision-making and continuous improvement.

Pay Range:

$82,640.00-$110,186.67 Annual

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
