Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance roles is necessary.
  • Valid Alberta Driver’s License is a must.
  • Knowledge of building trades preferred.

Job Description

As a Staff Services Maintenance Person at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, your care and attention to detail will focus on the well-being of our employees and residents. This role significantly impacts the satisfaction and comfort of residents in colleague accommodation.

Starting rate of pay: $27.96 per hour

Reporting to the Housing Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Maintenance and repair of all equipment and furnishings within the Housing Department.
  2. Responding to maintenance calls from staff housing.
  3. Performing preventative maintenance and completing work orders.
  4. Conducting daily inspections of fire prevention equipment.
  5. Responding to emergency calls during duty hours.
  6. Maintaining the condition of all equipment for job requirements.
  7. Completing work orders promptly.
  8. Working on an alternating schedule as required.
  9. Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Relevant maintenance experience.
  • Valid Alberta Driver’s License.
  • High School or Technical School diploma.
  • Knowledge of building trades.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently.
  • Flexible scheduling availability.

Visa Requirements: Must be eligible to work in Canada; the hotel cannot assist with work authorization.
