Job summary

Elk Valley Resources is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their mining operations in the Elk Valley region of British Columbia. These mechanics will maintain and repair a diverse fleet of large-scale mining equipment, working on-site at one of Canada’s leading steelmaking coal producers.

The ideal candidates are Red Seal certified, safety-focused, and eager to thrive in a dynamic mining environment with excellent benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to relocate or reliably commute to Sparwood, BC.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment drug screen and provide references.

Elk Valley Resources is seeking experienced Heavy Duty Mechanics to join their mining operations in the Elk Valley region of British Columbia. These mechanics will maintain and repair a diverse fleet of large-scale mobile mining equipment, working on-site at one of Canada’s leading steelmaking coal producers. The ideal candidates are Red Seal certified, safety-focused, and eager to thrive in a dynamic mining environment with excellent benefits and relocation support.

What You’ll Need

• Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, BC
