Job Summary:
The primary duties will include daily repairs, scheduled preventative maintenance and installation of new equipment.
Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate mechanical issues and develop corrective action plans
- Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment
- Install and maintain mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Operation of basic machine tools (lathe, drill press, etc.)
- Use of welding equipment, hand tools and power tools
- Complete required preventative maintenance and documentation
- Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Regulations
- Maintain computer maintenance management system
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Valid Industrial Millwright Red Seal or Equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years related experience
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Plan, schedule and prioritize effectively in conjunction with production and management
- Must be able to communicate in both written and spoken English
- Proven Understanding of a “Safety First working methodology”
Hourly Rate: $45.90. Hourly compensation is based on the current collective agreement. We offer a competitive benefits package, uniforms, safety boots and PPE.
