Job summary

Hudbay Minerals is seeking Mill Maintenance Millwrights for Copper Mountain Mine in Princeton, BC. This 7x7 rotation role involves preventative maintenance and repairs on mill equipment, with day and night shifts.

The ideal candidates are Red Seal Millwrights with mining experience and strong mechanical aptitude, able to work in a noisy, dusty environment and lift up to 50 pounds. Drivers license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Millwright certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of industrial/mining experience is required.
• Experience with SAG and Ball mills, conveyors, and gyratory crushers is an asset.
• Welding experience is an asset.
• Valid Class 5/7N driver’s license and access to transportation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in noisy, dusty conditions and at heights.
• Must be clean-shaven.

What You’ll Need
