Job description

Join to apply for the Maintenance (Millwright) Mechanic - $47.95/hour - Weekend Nights role at PepsiCo.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance of site equipment
  2. Completion of preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and electrical and/or mechanical repairs for all equipment within area of responsibility
  3. Execute daily assigned work
  4. Manage through emergency breakdowns
  5. Support in root cause analysis and prevention of future downtime events
  6. Collaborate with operators and other teams to reduce downtime, safety, and quality risks
  7. Communicate effectively during shift crossovers, work order feedback, and meetings
  8. Apply troubleshooting skills to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

  • MANDATORY: Valid Mechanical ticket in Ontario
  • Secondary trade license (asset with pay incentive)
  • Motivation and positive attitude
  • Drive for improvement
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Knowledge of operational processes and packaging equipment
  • Ability to use machine shop equipment and weld
  • Experience with maintenance control systems
  • Ability to work shift work
