Job description

General Accountabilities

1. Maintain and keep all plant equipment operational.
2. Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maintain productivity daily, including controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
3. Possess documented Millwright training.
4. Maintain and monitor safe operations of all equipment, including cycle start buttons, emergency stop buttons, light curtains, and lockout procedures.
5. Maintain safe working habits and adhere to safety standards such as OSHA, WHMIS, and proper use of safety gear.
6. Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safety, quality, reliability, and long equipment life.
7. Report daily activities to the supervisor, including updating logs and documentation.
8. Maintain good housekeeping in the plant floor, maintenance areas, and equipment.

Position Requirements

• Millwright trade certification.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Complete IATF16949/ISO14001 training.
