Maintenance Mechanic - Millwright

Are you a skilled Maintenance Mechanic - Millwright knowledgeable about keeping things running smoothly? We're looking for a dedicated professional to join our team in Scarborough, ON. In this crucial role, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing various production and facility equipment, including HVAC systems, air compressors, and specialized machinery such as Auger Fillers, Cappers, Labelers, Blenders, and Capsule Encapsulators. Your expertise in preventative maintenance and electrical troubleshooting will be key to maximizing uptime and ensuring our operations run efficiently.

Terms of Employment : Full-time, Permanent

Salary : Competitive, with overtime pay when applicable.

Expected hours : No less than 40 hours per week

Schedule : Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Repair packaging, tabulating, and blending equipment as required.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Prepare purchase orders for replacement parts.
• Document preventative maintenance, repair work, and spare parts to facilitate SOP requirements.
• Assist in rigging requirements on new equipment and relocation projects.
• Weld machine parts as required to facilitate repairs on equipment.
• Assist in other maintenance functions throughout the facility as needed.
• Maintain equipment in the maintenance shop.
• Practice safe health and safety procedures when performing job responsibilities.
• Work in compliance with the company's Health & Safety Policies / SOPs, including the Safety Responsibilities Procedure.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices in all GMP-sensitive areas of the organization.
• Other duties as required.
