Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Maintenance Millwright 433A in Mississauga to perform day-to-day maintenance tasks, building repairs and projects with minimal supervision. You will support all departments as needed in a unionized environment with a strong focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires a Millwright 433A license, 3+ years in industrial maintenance, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. The hourly rate is $35.32, with comprehensive benefits and pension, offering long-term growth

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma.
• Possess a valid Millwright 433A license.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial maintenance including building repairs, cleaning, landscaping.
• Have basic repair/maintenance skills.
• Be physically capable of bending, pushing and lifting up to 30lbs.
• Able to follow directions and work on your own.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess a Can Do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor plumbing repairs and installations.
• Operates floor scrubbing equipment
• Assists with periodic sprinkler system testing.
• Maintains the grounds maintenance including, debris cleanup, removing snow, and ice.
• Performs routine painting, light bulb changes and other related maintenance.
• Trims shrubbery and cultivates flower beds in season.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
