Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Millwright, your primary responsibilities will include examining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. You will provide technical support to the production team during runtime hours to ensure optimal functionality of all equipment. Your daily routine will involve preventative, corrective, and facility maintenance using the internal asset management system. Additional tasks may be required to meet operational demands.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Read equipment manuals and blueprints for installation, troubleshooting, and repairs
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Inspect equipment for irregularities and malfunctions
  • Adjust equipment and replace defective components
  • Operate tools such as lathes and milling machines to fabricate parts
  • Assemble equipment prior to installation using hand/power tools and welding equipment
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, efficiency, and reliability
  • Complete work orders according to preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
  • Comply with all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area
  • Work safely in accordance with provincial and internal Lockout/Tagout policies
