Job summary

CpK Interior Products Inc. in Port Hope seeks a Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright for the Afternoon Shift. You will repair and adjust machinery to ensure safe, efficient operation and complete PMs on schedule.

Requirements: Ontario Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright, Grade 12 or equivalent, reading blueprints, and four years of related experience. Benefits include health care, life insurance, and vehicle purchase discounts.

Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright is responsible for repairing and adjusting machinery and equipment as required to provide safe and efficient operation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:

• Follow safety procedures and comply with all related safety and security regulations. Take action to correct unsafe work habits. Operate equipment safely. Report and/or correct unsafe work conditions as appropriate.
• Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with established housekeeping standards.
• Repairs machinery and equipment as required.
• Adjust production machinery and equipment to provide safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose potential mechanical problems and breakdowns.
• Completion of assigned PMs by scheduled date.
• Ontario Certificate of Qualification as an Industrial Mechanic Millwright.
• Grade 12 or equivalent technical training.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Four year's related experience.
