Job summary

Woodbine Entertainment in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a reliable Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain buildings and race facilities. You will service railings, gates, fixtures, HVAC systems and assist external tradespeople, while keeping logs and safety records up to date.

The role requires a grade 12 diploma and at least two years of maintenance experience, a valid Ontario driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy loads.

Qualifications

• Minimum grade 12 diploma required.
• At least 2 years of general building maintenance experience.
• Good understanding of HVAC equipment and systems.
• Able to read, write and converse in English.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain railings, gates, TV hangers, doors, flag poles and grandstand seating.
• Maintain washrooms and perform related plumbing tasks.
• Snow and ice removal and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Assist outside contractors and tradesmen as required.
• Complete work orders, log books and inspection records accurately.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and compliance with OHSA.
