Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and replacing filters, as well as performing minor preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment across all client sites to ensure efficiency and mechanical integrity. This role is suitable for graduates of college or other post-secondary programs in HVAC studies.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on mechanical equipment, including:

• Filter changing and maintenance
• Oil and greasing
• Belt adjusting or replacement
• Cleaning of cooling towers, coils, evaporator and condenser tubes, and water treatment
• Delivery of parts and equipment
• General housekeeping
• Adjustments to meet local client requirements
• Cleaning, repairing, and routine maintenance of solar energy equipment
• Assist service and maintenance journeymen and apprentices
