Arc’teryx Equipment in New Westminster, BC, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to inspect daily production-line machinery, troubleshoot malfunctions, and coordinate with Production and Engineering for optimal uptime. You will ensure safety standards while performing preventive maintenance on sewing, taping, and press equipment.
The role requires 3–5 years of mechanical experience or related education, strong attention to detail, and solid teamwork and communication abilities.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, your main duty is to complete daily inspection of machines on the production floor, trouble shoot and resolve all machine malfunctions in a timely manner. You will work closely with your team as well as with members of the Production and Engineering team to ensure smooth operation of all machineries and minimize impact on production.
You will work under the Maintenance Supervisor, collaborating with other maintenance technicians and mechanics to ensure regular inspections, repairs, and maintenance of machinery for optimal uptime and availability.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$29.33 - CAD$35.50 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.
