Join Our Team as a Maintenance Mechanic!

Are you a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Mechanic looking for a new opportunity? Our busy food processing facility needs your expertise to keep our production humming.

You'll be crucial in maintaining the seamless operation of our equipment, performing regular maintenance checks and promptly addressing any issues or breakdowns. Your work will significantly reduce downtime and guarantee the highest levels of product quality and safety. If you're ready to make a real impact, we want to hear from you!


️ Now Hiring: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: South Edmonton
Industry: Food Processing / Manufacturing
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Duration: Temporary (expected to end between October and January, dependent on skills and site needs)

Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery, packaging lines, and facility systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment issues.

Repair and replace defective parts, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and other components.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Collaborate with the production team to address issues quickly and efficiently.

Ensure compliance with safety, GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.

Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

Hands-on experience with conveyors, mixers, pumps, chillers, and automated machinery.

Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is an asset.

Welding, fabrication, or basic electrical experience is a plus.

Millwright blue book is an asset

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
