Job summary

IKO Industries Ltd. seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager for its Brantford, Ontario extruded polystyrene manufacturing facility.

You will support startup activities, develop maintenance plans, and guide the transition to regular production of high-quality XPS products. The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance, and reliability while coordinating with production, engineering, and the reliability group to implement preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years supervisory experience in a continuous process manufacturing environment.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent industrial experience.
• Experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance program.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems; heat transfer and exchange systems; and industrial automation.

Responsibilities

• Establish a high level of safety, health, & environmental compliance through communication, monitoring, training, and setting performance standards.
• Drive accountability for results and actions of direct reports through education, motivation, documentation, and coaching.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and scheduling with production and engineering teams.
• Coordinate external vendors and contractors for work requirements.
• Prepare recommendations for major repairs, replacements, upgrades and new processes.
