North American leader, specialized for more than 40 years in the manufacturing of architectural products, with more than 1500 employees, is looking to add a new Maintenance Manager to their Woodbridge, Ontario team. The candidate will oversee the maintenance operations of our facilities and will be responsible for creating/implementing preventative maintenance plans, troubleshooting equipment issues, sourcing alternative parts, and ensuring a rapid response to equipment failures.

General Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all maintenance activities within the facilities
- Utilize CMMS to plan, schedule, and track maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budgets
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems to diagnose and resolve equipment failures promptly
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source alternative parts and materials as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with equipment manufacturers and service providers to stay updated on technological advancements and best practices
- Plan and coordinate new equipment installation with a multidisciplinary team
- Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards in all maintenance activities
- Prepare reports on maintenance activities, including equipment performance, downtime, and maintenance costs, for management review
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop and manage maintenance budgets, minimize downtime, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize resource allocation
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field preferred
- Millwright license is mandatory
- Proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) software
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve equipment failures
- Effective leadership and team management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
