This position is for you.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Maintenance acts as Transport Canada's Person Responsible for Maintenance (PRM) and Quality (PRQ). You will oversee all activities related to the repair, overhaul and continuous improvement of aircraft engines and parts.

Responsible for managing MRO operations, developing the team and implementing new capabilities, you will ensure that quality, performance and compliance objectives (AS9120, AS9110, TCCA, EASA, FAA) are met. You apply Lean best practices and ensure an optimal customer experience at every stage of the process.

Main responsibilities:

  • Assume the roles of PRM and PRQ recognized by TCCA
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (TCCA, FAA, EASA)
  • Manage investment projects, human and material resources
  • Implement operating systems (MPM, Lean) and ensure quality compliance
  • Optimize MRO services and identify new business opportunities
  • Monitor performance through key performance indicators (KPIs), budget and health & safety targets
  • Participate in the hiring, training and development of employees

Skills and qualifications :

  • University degree in engineering, administration or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in a similar role
  • Eligibility for PRM roles according to TCCA requirements
  • Excellent command of French and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong interest in optimizing operational processes and tools
  • Availability for occasional international travel
  • Mobilizing leadership and team spirit
  • Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong customer and results orientation
  • Ability to analyze, innovate and take initiative
