Mirador Search Partners partners with a privately held Canadian manufacturer to hire a Maintenance Manager in Delta, BC. This hands-on leader will own the established maintenance team and advance preventative and predictive programs to improve equipment reliability.

The role will oversee a significant capital program and modernize maintenance planning, scheduling, and CMMS usage, while driving a proactive maintenance culture on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Hands-on leadership style and time spent on the plant floor.
• Red Seal Millwright or Electrician preferred.

I'm currently partnering with a privately held Canadian manufacturing company to hire a Maintenance Manager for its established industrial operation in Delta, BC. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on maintenance leader to take ownership of an established maintenance team, strengthen preventative and predictive maintenance programs, and make a meaningful impact on overall equipment reliability.

The facility is entering a significant investment period, with approximately $50+ million in capital projects planned over the next 4-5 years, creating an exciting opportunity to play a key role in equipment modernization and the evolution of the maintenance function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor the mechanical and electrical maintenance team.
• Strengthen preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
• Improve equipment reliability, uptime and overall maintenance performance.
• Drive a more proactive maintenance culture.
• Implement and optimize CMMS, maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
• Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support major capital projects, equipment upgrades and facility modernization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or processing environment.
• Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience.
